And last but not least, (I hope I'm not totally boring you to death), a group of fabrics that I bought at Quilter's Stash to participate in a Mod Bento Block. It sounds like fun! If you're interested, go to
Love this orange squiggle stripe (Sweet Pea) by Jackie Shapiro. Film in the fridge used it for binding on a quilt.
And these also. Note the dragonflies and snails. Colors are kind of faded in the pic, but not in real life!
Couldn't resist these little darlings from Quilter's Stash in N. Attleboro. (Westminster Fabrics)

Some new fat quarters from a dear friend: yaaay! Now some ideas as to what to do with it...

Here's a work in progress: A Color Splash Trip Around the World quilt all in Asian prints. I love the swan or whatever kind of bird that is. It's a crib size but I'm using it as a wall hanging over my fireplace.

Shopping fun

I've been shopping! What fun! First two pictures are vintage from a great shop that opened recently. And I won a bid on Ebay for the HR Goldfish in a Bag and the bicycles - perfect for a baby quilt!

This is my second quilt, just finished last month. I half quilted it, and half tied it. I gave it away to a very dear friend - not her style, though - I should have known. I will make her another one more to her liking. Check out amy's bloggers' quilt festival! I'm having a blast checking out all the quilts, and all the talent and creativity.
